Follow these steps in the exact order.
Do not skip any steps. Each stage is necessary for the reset to complete correctly.
Access the email address used during purchase. Look for a message from Reset Epson. If it's not in your inbox, check your spam and junk folders.
Click the download link in the email. Save the file to your computer. If it's compressed (.zip), extract it before continuing.
Right-click the downloaded programme and select "Run as Administrator". This is required for the reset to function correctly.
Switch on the printer and connect the USB cable to your computer before entering the key. The software needs to detect the printer in order to work.
Copy the key from the email and paste it into the designated field in the software. Do not type it manually — copy and paste to avoid errors. The key has no spaces before or after.
Watch the tutorial sent in the email and complete each step alongside the video. Do not proceed until each stage has been confirmed as complete.
Once the reset is confirmed by the software, switch the printer off at the mains, wait 10 seconds and switch it back on. This step is required to apply the new settings.
